WORDS are already sprouting up…

Pylon hero Kek-W from Hacker Farm has already nailed a truly fantastic review (in both sense of the word being as brilliantly written as you would expect) which you can read here.

AND Boomkat bring the love here for both label and album!

Finally, here is Daniel Baker’s (of Handloom Lament and Worst Chips Ever infamy) press release which is a piece of work in itself…

We’re drunk as hell in a bizarro cabaret. Market stall reared town crier compere is our host for the evening. An Open University critical theory degree sidelined in favour of solipsist bedroom vocal science, bloke’s all over the show, kitsch cybernetic detours submerged beneath filthy Thames brine. It’s a totally temporal destructo pop thing, rattled out like some sexually unsure Prince just before he went all Jehova (or Rick from Casablanca reimagined by Chris Morriss) . Scattered fragments of On The Corner exploitation crud made luminous, a slug-hop soundystem in a tin harnessed by a selector with a fetish for twentieth century visual art movements (“Andy Warhol take one! It’s WAR HOLE actually!”).

Pure loads of those womblike snatches of callbacks and motifs from bugged out outsider soul, ebay bargain hip-house obscurities and post Sleng Teng one riddim’ bloody mindedness, except in totally the wrong hands, properly modified and transformed into the information overload equivalent of Smiley Culture fostering leaderless resistance against Terminators.

Despite these seismic responsibilities, and throughout the whole rise of the machines thing, the guys cummerbund remains immaculate.
